Car power socket splitter

” Hi. I see some people have them cigarette lighter splitter in there car so they have more than one power socket. I feel kind of funny using some thing that don’t seem to have a brand. Do you happen to know any brand name ones?”

Well, I don’t advise even using a splitter for those cigarette lighters, as they are rather weakly made anyway and can cause electrical problems by overloading them. If you want a bunch of power sockets, just run a fused 10 gauge wire direct from the battery positive terminal and connect as many as you want off of that. Then the only thing you’ll have to worry about is blowing the fuse you put on that wire, and won’t mess with anything else in the vehicle. Splitters are just mickey mouse devices that you should stay away from.
