Does HAFC (hydro assist fuel cell) really work?

Kirk’s question:

“I am thinking of buying a device call hydro assist fuel cell (HAFC). Have you ever heard of it and does this technology make sense to you?

Answer:

DON’T Waste your money. Those are all Scams, which come out of the woodwork every time the price of gas goes up. You could actually damage your engine injecting water into it, and there’s no way you can efficiently create hydrogen in your own car. If there was, we’d all be driving hydrogen cars and the fuel crisis would be a lot smaller than it is. So don’t get scammed by ANY of these gas mileage “miracles” people are selling. I’ve seen them all, and NONE of them work.
