How to remove the catalytic converter?

Answer:
You can try to unbolt them if they have bolts and metal collars holding them onto the pipes. BUT, many are welded on and have to be cut off with a torch and new ones welded on. Even I don’t personally mess with them much, I just go down the street to a local discount muffler shop and have them do the cutting and welding.
